- Surface Preparation: To achieve the best possible results, meticulous surface preparation is paramount. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the target area to remove any dirt, dust, or contaminants. A clean, dry surface ensures optimal adhesion and product performance.
- Application: Apply VIon AQUA natura undiluted using a clean, lint-free cotton cloth. Work the product into the surface with a smooth, even motion, allowing for thorough impregnation. Pay close attention to any seams, edges, or uneven surfaces for complete coverage.
- Drying and Recoating: To prevent the product from drying prematurely on the surface, it's crucial to remove any excess VIon AQUA natura within 30-45 minutes of application. A damp cloth can be used for this purpose. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate (the material being treated), a second or even third application may be necessary for optimal results. Allow sufficient drying time between coats, following the manufacturer's recommended intervals.
- Compatibility Testing: Before widespread application, it is highly recommended to conduct a patch test on a small, inconspicuous area of the substrate. This test application allows you to confirm compatibility with the material and assess the final aesthetic effect. Observing the test area for any discoloration, staining, or unexpected reactions will help mitigate potential issues on the main surface.
