Application Procedure:
- Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, free of dust, dirt, and debris. Sweep or vacuum the floor thoroughly.
- Product Application: Using a clean, lint-free cloth, apply a thin, even coat of the product to the desired area. Work in manageable sections to avoid over-application.
- Dwell Time: Allow the product to dwell on the surface for the manufacturer's recommended timeframe. This information can typically be found on the product label. Dwell time ensures proper penetration and effectiveness.
- Buffing: After the dwell time, select an appropriate buffing method based on the desired finish and surface condition:
- Fine Pad: Use a clean, high-quality, fine buffing pad attached to a floor machine for a light polish and gentle removal of minor surface imperfections.
- Steel Wool Pad (Caution): For experienced users only. Utilize a high-quality, grade-appropriate steel wool pad with a floor machine for heavy-duty cleaning or removal of stubborn blemishes. Important Note: Steel wool can leave scratches; test on an inconspicuous area first and use with extreme caution.
- Soft, Dry Cloth: For a light buff and removal of excess product, a clean, soft, dry cloth can be used by hand or with a floor machine set to a low speed.
- Removal: Once buffed, remove any product residue using a clean, damp cloth. Work in sections, rinsing the cloth frequently to maintain cleanliness.
- Drying: Allow the surface to dry completely before foot traffic or furniture placement.
