To achieve optimal cleaning efficacy, begin by pre-wetting the surface entirely. This allows for even product distribution and penetration into any grime or contaminants. Utilize a diluted cleaning solution as per the manufacturer's instructions. After application, permit the product to dwell on the surface for a designated timeframe, typically a few minutes. This dwell time is crucial for the cleaning agents to effectively loosen and break down dirt, stains, or grease. If necessary, employ a soft-bristled brush to agitate stubborn grime, ensuring thorough cleaning, particularly in textured surfaces or crevices. Following this, meticulously rinse the surface with clean water. It's paramount to perform two to three additional rinses to ensure the complete removal of any residual cleaning solution. This is particularly important if you intend to subsequently apply an impregnator or protective coating, as any remaining cleaning product can impede their proper bonding and effectiveness. A clean, lint-free cloth can be used for the final wipe-down to eliminate any water streaks and ensure a pristine finish.
